We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Planning team, supporting Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management and S&OP; activities across a global business. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a hands-on analytical role where you'll work with large data sets, reporting tools and planning systems to help improve visibility, identify risks and support better decision-making across the supply chain. You'll partner closely with planners and key stakeholders, helping ensure they have the information they need to manage demand, supply and inventory performance effectively. The role offers broad exposure across the end-to-end supply chain and is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, working with data and building a career in planning, inventory management or S&OP.;
The role:
- Support Demand and Supply Planners through reporting, analysis and planning activities
- Analyse demand trends, inventory performance, stock availability and supply risks
- Monitor inbound supply, open purchase orders and inventory positions to identify potential service issues
- Investigate forecast variances, inventory exceptions and planning data anomalies
- Prepare reports, dashboards and performance metrics that support planning and business decisions
- Support inventory planning activities including stock health, excess inventory and shortage risk analysis
- Assist with promotional planning, new product launches and range changes through scenario modelling and impact analysis
- Prepare meeting packs, action trackers and reporting for S&OP; and planning review forums
- Maintain planning data and support continuous improvement of planning systems and reporting tools
- Assist with process improvement initiatives, reporting automation and master data governance
- Work closely with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Sales and IT teams to support effective decision-making
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience in a Supply Chain Analysis, Planning Analysis, Inventory Analysis or similar role (approximately 3+ years)
- Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, manufacturing or a similar retail workplace
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (non-negotiable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to identify trends, risks and opportunities from data
- Experience creating reports, dashboards and presenting insights to stakeholders
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and confidence working across a broad and global stakeholder group
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline highly regarded
- Exposure to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management or S&OP; processes highly regarded
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems highly regarded
