About the Role

As Branch Team Leader, you'll lead, coach and support your team to deliver exceptional Member experiences while driving branch performance and operational excellence.

You'll be responsible for creating a positive and high-performing team culture, supporting business growth opportunities and representing The Mutual Bank within the local community.

Reporting to the Head of Retail Operations, your responsibilities will include:

Leading, coaching and developing a team to achieve individual and branch goals

Creating a positive, high-performing and Member-focused culture

Supporting branch sales, growth and referral outcomes

Building strong relationships with Members and the local community

Ensuring compliance, operational excellence and risk management standards are maintained

Monitoring branch performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Experience leading a branch or similar customer-facing team





Exceptional communication and relationship building skills

A passion for coaching, mentoring and developing people

Strong problem solving and decision-making capability

Sound knowledge of financial services products and services

Understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements within the banking sector

This is a full-time prospect with workdays and hours of Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 5:15pm. You will also be required to work at least two Saturday morning shifts per month (8:45am – 12:15pm).
