Purpose.

The Delivery Lead plays a critical role in driving the successful delivery of initiatives that underpin the Retail business’s strategic and operational success. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating cross-functional initiatives across compliance, product and campaign delivery, pricing, operations, and credit & collections.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners, the Delivery Lead ensures initiatives are well-defined, prioritised, and delivered on time, within scope, and with clear business outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Delivery & Execution
- Drive and facilitate the end-to-end delivery of Retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
- Translate business objectives into clearly defined delivery plans, milestones, and outcomes.
- Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts are actively managed.
- Maintain momentum on initiatives through effective planning, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.

- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted delivery partner to Retail stakeholders across compliance, product, campaigns, pricing, operations, and credit & collections.
- Facilitate workshops, forums, and governance sessions to support decision-making and progress tracking.
- Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders.

- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure initiatives adhere to internal governance processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations.
- Identify delivery risks and issues early, developing mitigation strategies and escalating where appropriate.
- Support readiness for audits, assurance reviews, and regulatory milestones.

- Planning & Prioritisation
- Support prioritisation of Retail initiatives to maximise customer, risk, and commercial outcomes.
- Work with planning and analytics partners to understand impacts,



trade-offs, and capacity constraints.
- Ensure delivery plans remain flexible and responsive to shifting business priorities.

- Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to improving delivery practices, tools, and ways of working within the Retail Planning Team.
- Capture lessons learned and promote repeatable, scalable delivery approaches.
- Support a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge, experience (including qualification) and skills

Knowledge and experience:

- Detail the education and or special certification, training and work experience requirements for the position. This may also include the level of industry knowledge.
- Tertiary qualified in business (or similar).
- 5 years’ experience in cross company project / delivery leadership.
- 5 years’ experience working directly with senior Sales, Marketing, Commercial and Operational leaders.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Experience working with key project management and delivery software. In particular Jira, Confluence and MS Office suite.
- Strong negotiation skills essential.

- Practical understanding of the energy (or similar utilities type) market preferred.
