We are now recruiting for a Assistant Store Manager to work at our Taree West Bottle-O Store based on the NSW Mid North Coast. This fulltime position will work 76 hours per fortnight across a two week roster cycle with Week A working 35.5 hours and Week B working 40.5 hours The position is classified as a Casual Retail Employee Level 5 - the hourly rate for 21 years old and over is $30.66 plus applicable penalty rates for evening & Saturday shifts $38.33 and Sunday shift s$45.99.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the efficient day to day running of a liquor store on behalf of the Retail Liquor Specialists Group; as such has responsibility to:

a) Supervise and assist in the development of staff to deliver a high level of customer service b) Assist with maximising the profitability and viability of the store c)



Monitor and maintain all WHS standards

Essential Selection Criteria

1. Completion of Certificate III or IV in Retail/Business/Management or equivalent
2. Experience in supervising team members
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail workplace
4. Effective written and oral communication skills
5. Proven ability to coach staff ‘on the job’
6. Responsible Service of Alcohol Qualification (relevant to State/ACT)

7. Driver’s Licence (current)
8. Ability to lift medium to heavy weights for period of time
9. Intermediate computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office, email, internet)

Desirable Selection Criteria

1. Experience in a similar role in the liquor industry

2. Liquor product knowledge
