About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and finance operations while supporting accurate reporting, payroll, compliance, and cash flow management across the business.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Completing bookkeeping,
account reconciliations and resolving financial discrepancies
- Managing end-to-end accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices, customer payments, and expense processing
- Processing payroll, superannuation, leave entitlements, and preparing/lodging payroll tax obligations
- Preparing monthly management accounts, financial reports, and month-end statements, including commentary on financial performance
- Assisting with BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement, cash flow projections, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Liaising with clients, accountants, and the ATO, onboarding new employees, setting up MYOB files, and providing finance support to staff
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper, or similar
- Solid knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Experience processing payroll, preparing reconciliations and financial reports
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- Experience using Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office
