WEM Civil is seeking a Site Engineer specializing in civil engineering to join our team. What you’ll do
- Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to project progress, including reports and compliance records.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise on-site to maintain project momentum.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in construction project management.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, including AutoCAD and project management applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
Nice to have
- Experience with sustainable construction practices.
- Familiarity with local regulations and compliance standards in NSW.
- Previous experience in residential and infrastructure projects.
