The Role
As a Scrub Scout/Theatre Nurse we need someone with experience inside and outside of the sterile zone. You must be confident with your count, and have the ability to communicate clearly. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the set up of the sterile table with the correct instruments
- Watching the surgical field closely to ensure nothing accidental contaminates the clean area
- Assisting the anaesthetist, positioning patient safely on operating table, and attaching monitoring equipment
- Keeping the official medical logs of the surgery
Must Have
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience in Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics/Recovery
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Current vaccinations
