About the role
The department is looking for enthusiastic MRI qualified Radiographers to become part of the team in a busy, dynamic and friendly Medical Imaging Department at Box Hill Hospital. Eastern Health Medical Imaging carries out over 280,000 examinations per year and supports an ED 24/7. Roles include the below:
MRI Radiographer
An prospect exists in Medical Imaging at Box Hill for a permanent full time MRI radiographer to join our growing team. Minimum of 3 years MRI experience, with cardiac experience preferred but not essential.
The role requires participation in a rotating roster that includes evenings, weekends and on-call.
Radiographer
An opportunity exists in Medical Imaging at Box Hill Hospital for a multimodality permanent full time radiographer with minimum 1 year MRI experience to join our growing team. The successful applicant will rotate through modalities and have access to a broad range of state-of-the-art equipment including MRI.
Staff share the responsibilities of servicing a busy public hospital that includes weekends, on call, afternoon and night shifts.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess/be:
- Personal Attributes should demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and strive for excellence in patient care along with excellent communication skills
- Willing to work as part of a team or autonomously when required and be able to prioritise work flow effectively under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Ability and drive to make a difference then capitalise on the opportunity
- A willingness to fully participate in a rotating roster
- AHPRA Registration with a Victorian Radiation Licence
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
