We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join the team at Kitchens by Matric. This is a full-time position based in Thomastown VIC 3074. As a Labourer, you will play an essential role in supporting our operations, assisting with various tasks across our kitchen manufacturing and installation projects. This hands-on position requires physical capability, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to our team's success on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation, handling, and transportation of materials and equipment on job sites and within the workshop
- Support skilled tradespeople in completing kitchen installations and related projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, ensuring a safe and productive environment
- Operate machinery & basic power tools under supervision, following all safety protocols
- Load and unload vehicles and equipment, ensuring items are transported safely
- Assist with site setup and breakdown as required for various projects




- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior team members promptly and professionally

What we're looking for

- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items
- Ability to work safely and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and commitment to attendance
- Basic communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors
- Willingness to learn and assist with various tasks as directed
- Capacity to work as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.
- A valid driver's licence is essential.
