VIDEO CONTENT CREATOR & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Galaxy Coins is an Australian precious-metals business specializing in bullion coins, gold and silver products, collectable coins and natural gold nuggets.

We are looking for a creative, reliable and commercially focused Video Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to develop engaging content that builds the Galaxy brand, educates our customers and generates genuine enquiries and sales.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who can plan, film, edit, write and publish high-quality content.

The Role

You will take responsibility for producing regular video, photographic and written content across Galaxy’s social media channels and website.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Planning and maintaining a monthly content calendar.
- Filming and editing short form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
- Producing longer educational and product focused YouTube videos.
- Writing informative and search optimized website articles and blog posts.
- Creating captions, headlines, thumbnails and supporting graphics.
- Publishing approved content across Galaxy’s digital platforms.
- Identifying relevant trends and adapting them appropriately for the Galaxy brand.
- Developing content around current products, rare items, customer questions and precious metals education.




- Repurposing each filming session into multiple videos, photographs, articles and social media posts.
- Monitoring content performance, website traffic, engagement and enquiries.
- Preparing a concise monthly performance report with recommendations.
- Working with Galaxy staff to ensure all technical and product information is accurate.
- Following strict confidentiality, security and content approval procedures.

Expected Content Output

The successful applicant will generally be expected to produce:

- 12–16 short‑form videos per month.
- 2–4 longer YouTube videos per month.
- Four high‑quality website articles or blog posts per month.
- Regular product and promotional photography.
- One or two email newsletters per month.
- A monthly content calendar and performance report.

Content may include:

- Bullion coin and collectable coin education
- Gold and silver product comparisons
- Natural gold nuggets and their characteristics
- New product releases and limited-mintage coins
- How coin weight, purity, condition and premiums are assessed
- Behind‑the‑scenes product inspection, photography and packaging
- Coin collecting and precious‑metals history
- Frequently asked customer questions
- Factual commentary on developments in the gold and silver markets
