Confoil Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to support the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing operations at our Bayswater facility. This is a hands‑on role responsible for ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently, minimising downtime and supporting production performance.

About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across the site to ensure production targets, safety standards and quality outcomes are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities

- Manage preventative electrical maintenance programs
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production equipment
- Carry out PLC troubleshooting, modifications and upgrades
- Support production through timely response to breakdowns
- Maintain electrical systems across machinery, buildings and site infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, OH&S; requirements and company policies




- Monitor and manage spare parts and support procurement processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Provide maintenance reports and recommend improvements

About you

You will be a proactive and reliable Electrician with experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

You will bring:

- A Grade Electrical Licence
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment (highly regarded)
- Strong experience with PLC systems, including fault finding and modifications
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Experience working with quality systems and HACCP
- Experience in food manufacturing or packaging environments
