The Olympic Hotel has an incredible opportunity available for an experienced bottle shop manager to join our establishment. The Olympic Hotel offers an expansive bistro, multipurpose function rooms and for the sports enthusiast, we have a vibrant sports bar offering lively atmosphere and a diverse range of beverages.

We are looking for an experienced Bottle shop manager to lead our team and further grow our established bottle shop customers. This is a hands‑on role that requires robust leadership, customer service focus and the ability to train employees and liaise with Senior Management. You will need to be passionate and knowledgeable about wine, beer and spirits to be successful for this role.

You will be responsible for:

- Manage and supervise day to day operations of the bottle shop
- Full stock control, including weekly and monthly stocktaking requirements




- Ensure compliance with liquor licencing laws and RSA requirements
- Merchandising experience including promotional display set ups.
- Financially astute including stock margins, wages, cash handling and daily reconciliations.
- Liaising with suppliers and delivery personnel
- Training and developing direct reports

Skills and Qualifications needed for the role:

- Previous experience in a management role
- High level of customer service, ability to resolve issues in professional manner
- Stronge verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including evening and weekend shifts
