About the Company Tate Asia-Pacific is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revit Drafter who thrives in a collaborative environment, demonstrates strong communication and coordination abilities, and is passionate about delivering high-quality design documentation that supports efficient project execution from concept to completion.

About the Role The Revit Drafter is responsible for creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of Tate product offerings for projects in all stages of development, from early specification works, project tenders, and live projects. You will be required to lead coordination meetings with our clients and their MEP contractors to ensure our products are accurately integrated into the overall building design, resolving any clashes and ensuring compliance with project specifications, timelines, and industry standards. This position will work on projects which require Australian Citizenship for at least 5 years and a clean federal police check.

Responsibilities Design and Drafting Coordination Develop detailed designs and models using Revit and other integrated software.

Collaborate with managers and other designers to ensure accurate and efficient designs.

Coordinate with the team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality documentation.

Assist in the preparation of design documentation for various stages of the project lifecycle including design development and creation of product libraries.

Provide support for multiple design and drafting projects, attend collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications and timelines.

Ensure designs use approved systems, ensuring product continuity across all products.





Coordinate and review construction and engineering specifications to meet project requirements.

Assist in further developing Revit families and automation.

Work with the design team, engineering team, project management team, and sales team.

Engineering Design Coordination Coordinate engineering inputs and design implementation details.

Gather engineering criteria from tender sets or contractor information to assess design compliance.

Coordinate structural issues and solutions with the team.

Qualifications and Education: Tertiary qualification in building design, engineering, or technical drafting (Bachelor's degree preferred).

Work experience: 3-5 years in a design / drafting role within a manufacturing workplace preferred.

Applied daily working knowledge of Revit to create accurate 2D/3D designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Produced detailed and accurate designs and drawings that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Developed accurate plans for steel structures, including all necessary details for fabrication and constructability.

Contributed to the design process and helped maintain smooth project progression from concept to completion.

Required Skills Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
