About the role

Reporting to the Group Shared Services Manager, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for leading the AR function across Australian Airconditioning Distributors (AAD) and HVAC Consolidated, part of the global Beijer Ref Group.

Based in Clayton, Melbourne, you'll manage one direct report, partner closely with branches and stakeholders, and drive the timely collection of outstanding accounts while balancing customer relationships and credit risk.

This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced AR professional who can hit the ground running, confidently manage escalations, and take ownership of collections, reconciliations, and process improvements.





Key responsibilities

Lead and support one Accounts Receivable Officer.

Drive collections while maintaining solid customer relationships and reducing aged debt.

Manage customer account queries, disputes, and escalations.

Assess credit risk, make sound commercial credit decisions and apply company credit policies

Negotiate payment arrangements and recovery plans.

Perform account and bank reconciliations.

Partner with branches to improve AR performance.

Support reporting and continuous process improvement.

About you

Solid experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Strong collections, credit, and reconciliation skills.

Confident managing difficult conversations and escalations.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Proactive, organised, and able to work autonomously.
