About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to expand your career in research and investments.

On any given day you could be:

- Building financial models to evaluate acquisitions and investment opportunities.

- Researching Australian and global equity markets.

- Analysing listed property, infrastructure and alternative investments.

- Supporting portfolio construction and strategic asset allocation.

- Preparing Investment Committee papers and investment recommendations.

- Conducting due diligence on direct property acquisitions and private investment opportunities.

- Build and maintain advanced financial models.

- Undertake investment research across listed and unlisted markets.

- Analyse company financial statements and investment opportunities.

- Prepare Investment Committee papers and recommendations.

- Prepare stakeholder and investor reporting.

About You

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys investing. You might be working within:

- Funds Management

- Investment Banking

- Corporate Finance

- Wealth Management

- Equity Research

- Real Estate Funds Management

- Transaction Advisory

- Big Four Corporate Finance

You will ideally possess:

- Exceptional analytical and financial modelling capability.

- Exceptional written written and verbal communication skills and experience in writing research papers.

- Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail.

- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in financial markets.

- A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred qualifications include:

- Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Studies or similar.

- CFA or CA completed or currently undertaking (highly regarded).
