Adgile is an established Australian SaaS business entering its next stage of growth. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Director to build the commercial organisation that will underpin our long-term success.
This is a hands-on player-coach role. Initially, you'll lead Adgile's commercial function end-to-end—driving revenue growth, leading customer relationships and establishing the people, systems and commercial operating model needed to scale.
You'll also lead the evolution of an AI-enabled commercial function, reimagining how people, AI, automation and data work together to grow revenue, deliver exceptional customer outcomes and create sustainable competitive advantage.
Working alongside the CEO and executive team, you'll shape Adgile's commercial strategy, accelerate our growth and help establish Outcome Intelligence as the new standard for marketing decision-making.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll be responsible for:
Growing new and existing customer revenue.
Leading Customer Success and long-term customer value.
Commercial strategy, planning, forecasting and performance.
Leading an AI-enabled commercial operating model spanning CRM, revenue operations and go-to-market execution.
Developing the team, technology and operating model required to scale the business.
Continuously improving commercial productivity, customer outcomes and decision making through AI, automation and modern commercial technologies.
Working closely with Product, Engineering and the executive team, you'll ensure customer and market insight continually informs product strategy, commercial execution and growth.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape how Adgile goes to market, influence product strategy and redefine how a modern commercial organisation operates.
About You
You’re a builder. You enjoy creating commercial capability, challenging conventional ways of working and helping outstanding people achieve more by combining technology, AI and better ways of working.
You enjoy growing revenue, developing people and continuously improving how commercial teams operate.
You’ll bring:
A proven track record of growing enterprise customers through consultative SaaS solution selling.
Experience leading people while remaining commercially hands-on.
Experience building and scaling commercial operating models, including CRM, revenue operations and modern commercial technologies.
Strong commercial judgement, strategic thinking and the ability to simplify complexity.
A collaborative leadership style with the confidence to influence outcomes, challenge ideas and roll up your sleeves when needed.
Experience in SaaS, AdTech, MarTech, Media or Data & Analytics will be highly regarded, along with exposure to Customer Success, Revenue Operations or Commercial Excellence.
