We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and driven Assistant Director/Educational Leader, who has the experience and strong desire to lead, inspire, support and manage our team of Educators, and run the day-to-day operations of our amazing childcare centre, Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Nowra

Our well-established centre with long-term staff is awaiting the right candidate to make it their own! This is a rare opportunity for a strong leader to join our team.

This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

In your new role you will:

Assist to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.

Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.

Ensure that high-quality early learningprograms are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.

Support to manage staffing rosters efficiently.

Assist in effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.

Ensure you are actively attracting, converting and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team

Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices are practiced consistently.

Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.

About you

A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degreeas approved by ACECQA.

A minimum 1 years’ experience as a Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.





Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.

Extensive understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP). Excellent understanding of CCS and QikKids.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.

Willingness to undertake and coordinate ongoing professional development trainingfor Educators.

The ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into your day-to-day practice.
