Job Description
LABOURLENS PTY LTD Care Hub Australia Group Pty Ltd, trading as Care Hub Australia, is looking for a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week (Australian Citizen or permanent resident preferred), supporting clients to improve their functional capacity, independence and participation in everyday activities through personalised, client-centred occupational therapy services.

Task & responsibilities Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify each client’s physical, cognitive, emotional and developmental strengths, challenges and support needs.
Evaluate clients’ ability to perform everyday activities across their home, school, workplace and community settings. Identify environmental barriers and recommend practical accessibility and safety improvements. Develop personalised intervention plans and deliver evidence-based therapeutic activities to improve self-care, mobility, learning, social participation and daily living skills.
Educate and guide family members, carers, teachers, employers and support workers on strategies for supporting clients in their daily environments. Assess the need for assistive technology and prescribe suitable mobility aids, adaptive devices and daily living equipment. Work closely with allied health practitioners, support coordinators, service providers and other stakeholders to provide coordinated care.
Contribute qualified occupational therapy advice when supporting clients with complex disability, developmental,
cognitive, physical or psychosocial needs. Review clients’ progress, revise intervention plans, prepare clinical documentation, maintain confidentiality and deliver services according to legislation, professional standards and ethical obligations.
Qualification & experience Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Occupational Therapy. At least one year of relevant professional experience as an Occupational Therapist. Demonstrated ability to complete occupational therapy and functional capacity assessments, develop intervention plans and prepare professional reports. Experience supporting clients with physical, cognitive, developmental, psychosocial or disability-related needs.
Sound knowledge of assistive technology, environmental adaptations and home modification recommendations. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, time-management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A client-centred, respectful and culturally responsive approach to service delivery. Ability to obtain all required employment screening checks, including a National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
