Australia's first fully integrated rare earths processing facility. How we build it matters as much as what we build.

Arafura is building the Nolans rare earths project in the Northern Territory, a billion-dollar greenfield operation and the first of its kind in the country.

We're looking for a Senior Compliance Advisor to be Arafura's compliance presence on site through construction and commissioning, delivered under an EPCM model.

This is a Line 2 assurance role, overseeing and guiding our EPCM and its contractors to ensure their work meets Arafura's project requirements and our external and regulatory obligations, across setting, safety, construction, community and governance.

What you'll do

- Spend your time in the field, seeing how the management plans, procedures and controls are landing in practice
- Guide the EPCM and its contractors to the outcome the system is designed to deliver
- Support environmental approvals, monitoring and regulatory reporting through construction and into operations
- Follow audit and inspection findings through to corrective actions that work in practice




- Support the Site Manager in representing Arafura's interests across all site activity

What you bring

- Construction oversight, assurance, environmental compliance or regulatory monitoring experience
- Project or construction experience with multiple contractors, ideally on an Owner's Team under an EPCM model
- The judgement to work out which risks matter most, and to know when to act, when to consult and when to
- The ability to build trust with the EPCM and contractors on site, to empower them to take ownership of actions and how they do their work
- Previous experience and understanding of the Northern Territory regulatory environment and deep respect for working on Country.
