We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants should have a positive understanding of relevant systems within a primary school business context. You should possess a willingness to adapt and an eagerness to learn new skills. You will ideally have sound organisational skills, possess the ability to keep to timelines in their day to day working environment and be a supportive, capable team member.

Attention to detail and working within the Department of Education's procedures and processes is highly desirable.



Suitable applicants should have strong proficiency in school-based administration systems such as Compass, RM Billing, RM Finance, SIS, along with a willingness to support and learn further phases of Kaartdijin implementation. Applicants should display excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the interpersonal skills necessary to liaise effectively across all levels of the school community while delivering high quality, customer focused service.

Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively. Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns. Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.

Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
