Finance Manager, Corporate Accounting | Melbourne CBD

A leading Australian asset manager with a proven track record of successful investments across multiple sectors is seeking a Finance Manager to join its high-performing team in Melbourne. About the Role:

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for all aspects of corporate accounting, with oversight of the fund accounting. This includes oversight of outsourced administrators, financial reporting, compliance, and driving improvements in systems and processes. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, and investor relations to support the effective management of the firm’s financial affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead preparation of financial statements and audit processes




- Support the preparation of internal and investor reports
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, tax obligations, and licensing requirements
- Oversee corporate accounting functions including monthly close and payroll
- Manage fund accounting and coordinate with external administrators
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements across finance
- Collaborate with internal teams across operations and investor services

About You:

- CA/CPA qualified with 6+ years of experience
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Xero advantageous
- Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
- A proactive team player based in Melbourne
- This is a full-time, office-based position working five days per week from the office
