We are seeking a Construction Engineer to support the delivery of land development projects from design through to construction completion.

We are seeking a Construction Engineer to support the delivery of land development projects from design through to construction completion.

About the role

Working closely with engineering, surveying, planning, project delivery teams, contractors and authorities, you will support site inspections, construction administration, issue resolution and project close-out.

Key responsibilities

- Support construction delivery from commencement to completion.

- Liaise with contractors, authorities, consultants and internal project teams.

- Undertake site inspections and monitor works against plans, specifications and authority standards.

- Inspect sewer and water infrastructure works and,



where appropriately accredited and authorised, provide sign-off in accordance with relevant water authority requirements.

- Assist with construction queries, RFIs and practical site issues.

- Support construction documentation, reporting and project records.

- Contribute to project meetings, updates and stakeholder communication.

- Help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

About you

You will bring:

- Experience in construction engineering

- Understanding of roads, drainage, sewer, water, earthworks and civil construction processes.

- Five years' experience in sewer and water infrastructure, with water authority accreditation highly regarded to inspect and sign off relevant works.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications and authority requirements.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

- A cooperative approach and relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction or a related field.
