Hope Harbour is seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across Melbourne’s northern suburbs through to the CBD.

In this role, you will support individuals living with mental health challenges to build independence, connect with their community, and live fulfilling lives.

We offer a mix of Community Access and Supported Independent Living (SIL) shifts, providing flexibility for those who enjoy both in-home support and getting out into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote wellbeing and community engagement
- Provide emotional support and build positive, trusting relationships
- Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and respect




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and quality standards

About You:

- Experience in mental health and/or disability support work
- Experience with Community Access and/or SIL
- Warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable and responsive to client needs

Requirements:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
