We're currently seeking a Brisbane-based Assistant Development Manager to join GRAYA and support the delivery of our luxury multi-residential and mixed-use development pipeline.

This role is suited to an emerging property professional with experience in residential development, project coordination, feasibility support, consultant management, approvals, reporting, and project administration.

At GRAYA, we are known for design-led development, detail-driven delivery, and creating some of Queensland's most recognisable luxury projects. As Assistant Development Manager, you will work closely with our Development Managers and internal teams to support projects from early feasibility and acquisition through planning, design, delivery, sales, marketing, and handover.

As Assistant Development Manager, you will help keep projects moving by supporting project reporting, financial tracking, consultant coordination, approvals, documentation, and communication between internal and external stakeholders.

You will work across multiple project phases and play an important role in ensuring information is accurate, timelines are managed, and project teams have what they need to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do

Development support and project coordination

- Support Development Managers across luxury multi-residential and mixed-use projects
- Assist with the coordination of consultants, authorities, service providers, internal teams, and project stakeholders
- Support project reporting,



meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, action registers, and follow-up tasks
- Assist with planning, design, authority approvals, consultant deliverables, and project documentation
- Participate in PCG meetings, consultant meetings, design meetings, and internal project reviews as required
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date project information across the full development lifecycle

Feasibility, financial and commercial support

- Assist with feasibility models, project budgets, cost tracking, and financial analysis
- Support forecasting, cash flow tracking, cost reporting, and project performance monitoring
- Coordinate supplier set-ups, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, claims, and progress payments
- Act as a key point of contact for finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, suppliers, and consultants on project-related queries
- Assist with tender processes, consultant appointments, contract administration, and procurement documentation
- Identify project risks, cost movements, and timing impacts for review by the Development Manager

Sales, marketing and stakeholder communication

- Provide accurate project information to sales, marketing, construction, customer, and leadership teams
- Support the preparation of project updates, launch information, sales materials, buyer information, and internal reporting
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure project details, timing, specifications, and milestones are clearly communicated
- Liaise with consultants, local authorities, agents, suppliers, and internal teams to support agreed project deliverables
- Help ensure each project reflects the quality,



design intent, and commercial discipline expected of GRAYA

Requirements

- Experience in an Assistant Development Manager, Development Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or related property role
- Ideally 2+ years' experience within residential development, multi-residential, mixed-use, property, construction, planning, or project delivery
- A degree in Property Economics, Construction Management, Project Management, Planning, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of the development process, including feasibility, planning, approvals, design, procurement, delivery, sales, and settlement
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with confidence working across budgets, forecasts, feasibility models, and project reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with feasibility modelling tools such as Estate Master or similar will be highly regarded
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation, reporting, and deadlines
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced development environment
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset and a genuine interest in luxury property development
