We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Rowville office to work with our member organisations on both recent and existing solutions.

The main accountabilities of the role include:

- Analyse current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend ICT-based solutions
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, clarify and document business requirements
- Prepare key project documentation including functional specifications, report specifications, process models, wireframes and user guides
- Develop business process models and workflow diagrams to support system design and improvement initiatives
- Prepare and execute test plans and test cases for software enhancements and new implementations
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with end users and project team members across Australia and New Zealand
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials, project documentation and knowledgebase content




- Provide business analysis support to stakeholders and ensure solutions meet business needs

The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project development lifecycle, as well as support and training.

Mandatory requirements

- Preferably Australian Resident / Citizen
- Australian Degree qualified in information technology, Business, Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years plus experience working as a Business Analyst in a similar role
- Proven experience analysing business processes and developing functional specifications
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems and business process modelling tools
- Experience preparing test plans, test cases and coordinating UAT
- Experience developing training materials and user documentation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally as required

Other key selection criteria:

- Excellent written and oral English language skills.
- Degree in Information Technology.
- Quick learner who is happy to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with people from all levels of business.
- Experience with functional requirements, requirements traceability, software testing and preparation of test plans would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge Project Management Methodologies and the SDLC would be highly regarded.
