Cover Genius is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to our innovative insurance distribution platform, XCover. In this position, you will play a key role in enhancing our technology solutions that serve major global clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our partners and customers.

What you’ll do

- Design and implement software solutions that enhance the functionality of our insurance distribution platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features on time.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.




- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a quick-paced environment.

Nice to have

- Experience in the insurance or financial technology sectors.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
