Join QCS as a Mental Health Clinician in Queensland’s correctional centres, where new multi-disciplinary teams deliver a unique suite of clinical services. We’re seeking early career and experienced Psychologists, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists to provide assessments and tailored interventions supporting mental health and wellbeing. Recently QCS expanded their psychological workforce to include social workers and occupational therapists, as Mental Health Clinicians. Operating within a multidisciplinary team, you will complete risk screening and assessments, brief interventions and behavioural management support to assist in improving the wellbeing of adults in our care.



You will broaden your skills and experience with a variety of work that helps ensure the smooth and efficient provision of these crucial services in these Centres.

An in-depth onboarding and training program will set you up to manage the clinical delivery requirements of the roles.

Mandatory Requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and membership with APHRA; and/or
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Social Work with eligibility for membership or registration with AHPRA and/or AASW;
- C Class Driver's Licence; and
- Post-graduate experience in mental health would be highly regarded.
