Our client is a well-established hospitality and events organisation delivering high-quality functions across corporate, private, and community events. We are seeking an experienced Function Manager to take ownership of event planning and delivery while building strong client relationships and leading operational teams.

The Role

You will manage the full lifecycle of events — from initial enquiry through to execution on the day — ensuring each function is delivered professionally and exceeds client expectations.

Working closely with chefs, operations teams, suppliers, and clients, you will coordinate all elements of the event while maintaining clear communication and strong attention to detail.

This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone comfortable being both behind the scenes planning and on the floor during events.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage event enquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings
- Meet with clients to plan and deliver tailored event experiences




- Prepare detailed event orders and operational briefs for kitchen and service teams
- Coordinate logistics including catering, AV, floor plans, staffing, and suppliers
- Attend functions to oversee execution and resolve issues in real time
- Maintain accurate event documentation and reporting
- Build long-term relationships with corporate and repeat clients
- Work collaboratively with operations teams to deliver seamless service
