Located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, this business is transforming and growing at a remarkable rate as Melbourne’s building industry continues to grow. Currently they seek a highly motivated store person, who is committed to joining them for the long term as they continue their journey of growth.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will need to have a safety-first mentality, and be willing to contribute to supporting our highly functioning team.

The ideal candidate will have a background as a stores person and MUST have a forklift license. You need to be someone who can think on their feet and enjoy working alongside others in a dynamic and fast paced setting. You will be an effective communicator and not afraid to take customer enquiries over the phone. You will also need to show longevity on your resume and be able to work under pressure.

Day-to-day duties will include and not be limited to:

- Managing accurately the processing and putting away of stock from local and overseas suppliers (containers)
- Organising dispatch for both local and interstate freight
- Replenishing warehouse inventory and monitoring of product quantities




- Regular stock take, counting and maintaining accurate stock figures
- Customer service (face to face and Telephone)
- Providing support to Sales and Operations for stock purchasing, accuracy, and availability
- Picking and packing of orders
- Total accountability for the presentation, management, and daily workflow of the warehouse
- Lifting is required up to 20kg – pallet racking and the required tools are available to move stock

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

- Good communication skills and phone manner
- Action orientated and customer focused
- Be able to work unsupervised and always act with integrity and trust
- Have good attention to detail with lateral thinking ability!
- Suitable math’s, reading skills and basic computer skills

Working hours for this position are 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm times are negotiable (must work 38 hour week). However, you will need to work 7am-5pm on Fridays
