We are looking for a proactive, solution-focused Financial Accountant to Join Our Team in Blackburn, VIC on a Full-Time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain Financial Reporting and Month-End Close processes with accuracy, including completing monthly balance sheet reconciliation, preparing monthly journals and ensuring accuracy of the general ledger
- Assist in the preparation of monthly board reporting packs
- Managing the workflow during the month to ensure a smooth and timely month-end process, while supporting process improvements as needed
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding rebate arrangements while ensuring accuracy of various company registers including fixed assets, property, rebates and leases




- Assist with lender reporting requirements and finance schedules
- Liaise with external stakeholders including financial institutions, auditors, and taxation authorities to ensure regulatory compliance
- Other ad hoc duties as required

Key Selection Criteria:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- CPA or CA qualification(preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience with ERP systems (Pronto Xi highly desirable) and advanced Excel skills
- 2-5 years' Finance experience
