Mechanical Fitters – Multiple Shifts Available Laverton VIC

Join a Leading Manufacturing Team. We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a busy manufacturing and maintenance team based in Laverton.

We have opportunities available across Day, Afternoon and Night Shifts, with weekend work required when production is operating or scheduled maintenance is being completed.

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. You will work as part of a skilled maintenance team supporting continuous production and preventative maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Carry out machinery servicing, inspections and repairs
- Complete maintenance records and documentation
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives




- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams
- Follow all workplace health, safety and food safety procedures

About You

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Robust mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Welding experience is advantageous
- Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
