About the Role

Our client, a purpose-driven organisation in the not-for-profit sector, is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to provide strategic HR support across their operations. This is a full‑time ongoing position.

The organisation offers hybrid work options, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The role can either be based in their offices in Melbourne, Queensland or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with leadership and managers to deliver practical HR solutions and advice
- Lead workplace investigations, manage employee relations matters, and support industrial relations compliance
- Drive performance management, workforce planning, and recruitment initiatives
- Support onboarding,



orientation, and staff development programs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and systems
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaged workplace aligned with organisational values

About You

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role
- Broad experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce planning
- Strong problem‑solving, coaching, and influencing skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Experience in the community, health, or not-for-profit sectors is highly desirable
