We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Service Technician to join our Service Division. Reporting to the National Service Manager, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across commercial properties.

You will play a critical role in ensuring building systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime while providing excellent service to our clients.

Service Technician

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Service Technician to join our Service Division. Reporting to the National Service Manager, this role is responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across commercial properties.

You will play a critical role in ensuring building systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime while providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and equipment

- Respond to service requests within set timeframes and quality standards

- Complete preventative maintenance and urgent repair work

- Provide detailed service reports, including materials used and time spent

- Keep the service desk informed of job progress, issues, and escalations

- Maintain robust communication with clients and tenants, ensuring a positive customer experience

- Follow all safety protocols,



building codes, and compliance requirements

- Record job details accurately using job management software

- Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard

- Work closely with the service team to prioritise jobs and meet performance targets

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Proven experience in commercial property maintenance, including areas such as:

- Metal works / fabrication

- Carpentry

- Painting

- Working at heights

- Landscaping and minor concreting

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently

- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Sound knowledge of safety practices and regulatory compliance

- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications

- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Experience using job management or scheduling systems

- A valid Australian driver’s licence
