About the Role
Are you a Legal Administrator, Legal Secretary, PA or junior Paralegal looking for a role with genuine career progression? Joining a supportive corporate team, you'll combine administration and client support responsibilities while receiving hands-on training in ASIC lodgements, company registers and company secretarial matters, providing an excellent pathway into a specialist paralegal career.
Supporting a team of experienced professionals, you'll initially focus on core administrative responsibilities while developing the technical skills and knowledge required to take on more specialised company secretarial and corporate compliance work.
Over time, you'll develop skills across:
- Maintaining company registers and minute books
- Updating company records and ASIC registers
- Business name registrations, renewals and cancellations
- ASIC lodgements and corporate filings
- Client correspondence and regulatory queries
- Corporate compliance and governance administration
- Matter management, billing and disbursements
- Mail management and client document administration
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Approximately 1-3 years' experience in a legal, professional services or corporate administration environment
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced team environment
- An interest in corporate law,
governance or company secretarial work
Previous exposure to ASIC processes, corporate secretarial work or paralegal duties will be advantageous, but is not essential, as training will be provided.
