We're looking for a Volunteer Secretary to join the Committee at Arts Connect Inc. If you're organised, reliable and enjoy helping community organisations thrive, we'd love to hear from you. You don't need to be an experienced company secretary. This role would suit someone with administration, governance or committee experience—or someone looking to build those skills while supporting the arts on the Sunshine Coast.
Arts Connect
Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation that supports artists across the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland through professional development, networking, exhibitions and opportunities to build sustainable creative careers. The role is around 8–10 hours per month, with most work able to be completed remotely and flexibly around your schedule. If you know someone who might be interested, I'd really appreciate you sharing this post or asking them to get in touch.
About Arts Connect
Inc.
Arts Connect Inc. has been supporting and connecting the region's creative community for more than 30 years. We work with emerging, mid-career and established artists, helping them develop their practice, build professional networks and connect with recent audiences.
We deliver some of the Sunshine Coast's best-known visual arts initiatives, including Open Studios Sunshine Coast and Sculpture on the Edge, while also advocating for artists, developing partnerships with business and government, and creating opportunities for artists to exhibit, learn, collaborate and grow.
Our vision is to build a thriving regional arts community where artists can develop sustainable creative careers and where the visual arts are recognised as an important contributor to the cultural, social and economic life of our region. As a Committee member, you'll be joining a friendly and experienced team that is helping shape the future of the arts on the Sunshine Coast. Your contribution will directly support hundreds of artists and the delivery of events and programs that engage thousands of visitors each year.
If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, or you know someone who would, I'd love to hear from you. Please feel free to share this post with your networks.
