Do you love organisation, keeping things running smoothly, and want to make a real difference for our local koalas?
Koala Rescue
Redlands & Surrounds is looking for a volunteer Secretary to join our committee!
This is a fantastic way to give back to your community while supporting a cause that protects our precious wildlife. As Secretary, you'll help keep our organisation running smoothly behind the scenes — think meeting minutes, correspondence, record-keeping, and supporting our board and members.
What's involved:
Preparing agendas and minutes for committee meetings
Managing correspondence and keeping members informed
Supporting insurance renewals, grant applications, and compliance reporting
Working closely with our Chairperson and Treasurer
Time commitment:
Approximately 1 hour per week (a little more around meetings and reporting deadlines)
Who we're looking for: Someone based in the Redlands or nearby (Queensland resident or within 65km of the QLD border), with great attention to detail and solid written communication skills. No prior committee experience needed — just enthusiasm and reliability!
This is a voluntary position and a wonderful chance to be part of a passionate team helping protect koalas in our local area.
Applications close Thursday 13 August — so don't wait too long!
