A boutique private markets fund manager with circa $800m FUM is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their Finance & Fund Operations team.

This is a hybrid role spanning fund accounting, corporate financial control, and management accounting, giving you genuine breadth across both the funds and the corporate entity. It would suit someone who has moved early into private markets from a more traditional accounting background, or someone with existing fund accounting experience in private markets looking to broaden into corporate financial control.

The role:

- You'll be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of fund-level financial statements and investor reporting.
- You'll manage the month-end close process across both fund and corporate entities.
- You'll prepare management accounts and support budgeting and forecasting for the corporate entity.
- You'll work closely with external administrators, auditors,



and tax advisors to ensure compliance across the fund structures.
- You'll assist with the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and controls as the business continues to grow.

About you:

- You're CA qualified or equivalent.
- You have a background in fund accounting, corporate accounting, or financial services more broadly.
- Private markets exposure is highly regarded but not essential for the right candidate with strong technical fundamentals.
- Big 4 or Mid-tier Audit background is ideal
- You're comfortable working in a small, hands-on team workplace where priorities can shift quickly.
- You're able to work from the office four days per week.
