We're looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of a busy AP function supporting a well-established, values-driven organisation with multiple sites across Western Australia.

This is more than just processing invoices. You'll lead a team, improve workflows, strengthen financial controls and work closely with Finance leaders to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.

You'll oversee the day-to-day accounts payable operation, including:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of four Accounts Payable Officers
- Managing invoice processing, supplier payments and payment runs
- Ensuring compliance with purchasing policies, financial controls and delegated authorities
- Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving payment issues
- Working closely with Finance, Treasury and business stakeholders across multiple locations
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve systems
- Supporting month-end activities and maintaining high-quality financial data





You'll likely bring:

- Experience leading an Accounts Payable team or supervising a high-volume AP function
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, reconciliations and payment workflows
- A solid understanding of financial controls and governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Confidence using finance systems and Excel

Bonus points if you've worked with:

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Continia Document Capture or Expense Management
- Education, not-for-profit or other values-based organisations
