This is an established specialist in Alternative Risk Transfer, known globally for structuring complex multi-year, multi-line insurance programs and designing cutting-edge parametric solutions for multinational clients.

The global team is already highly respected and property-led, with liability capability now building out fast. Momentum outside the US has been strong — and the next frontier is APAC.

This isn't a backfill role. It's a genuine build. You'll be the region's first dedicated technical presence, with the mandate to originate, structure and underwrite across Property, Engineering and parametric nat cat solutions — working directly with brokers and large corporates to bring ART thinking to a market that's only just starting to ask for it.

You'll need range. This isn't a purely technical seat or a purely BD seat — it's both.



One day you're in front of a broker or corporate risk manager opening a conversation about parametric cover; the next you're structuring the multi-year, multi-line program that proves the concept out.

Property & Engineering underwriting depth is essential; nat cat / parametric structuring experience is a strong differentiator.

Backed by a global team, technical infrastructure and a proven track record elsewhere, you get the platform of an established player with the license to build a new territory exactly as you see fit.

You'll ideally bring 8+ years in Alternative Risk Transfer or specialty P&E; underwriting — carrier, MGA or broker side — with genuine comfort operating across both origination and technical delivery.

Location: Sydney preferred, with regional APAC responsibility. Singapore-based candidates also considered.
