Our client, an independent Federal Government regulator responsible for administering emissions reduction, carbon and renewable energy schemes, require the services of a Senior AI Specialist Business Analyst.

Duties of the Senior AI Specialist Business Analyst

- Work with data/AI capabilities, translating them into clear, testable user stories & acceptance criteria for multi‑disciplinary agile teams;
- Explore business problems, rapidly prototype solutions, & show how AI can improve workflows, decision-making or service delivery;
- Elicit, analyse & translate business needs into clear process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria & delivery-ready artefacts;
- Shape AI‑enabled features & services that are ethical, transparent & compliant, & ensure the right human‑in‑the‑loop controls, explainability & auditability are in place across the AI lifecycle.

Skills and Experience Required

- A solid capability to elicit, analyse & translate business needs into clear process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria & delivery-ready artefacts for multidisciplinary teams;
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools, preferably within the Microsoft stack, (including Microsoft Foundry,



Copilot Studio & Power Platform);
- An understanding of responsible AI, privacy, security, human oversight, explainability, bias, records management & governance requirements, & can apply these considerations to real business scenarios;
- Ability to facilitate workshops, engage technical & non-technical stakeholders, communicate complex AI concepts clearly, influence adoption, & support change, training & continuous improvement.
