Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Appian Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and implementing business process management (BPM) solutions using the Appian platform and AWS cloud services. The candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable workflow solutions, integrating enterprise applications, and supporting cloud-native deployments on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Appian Low-Code Platform.
- Develop Appian components including:
- SAIL Interfaces
- Records
- Process Models
- Reports and Dashboards
- Integration Objects
- Expression Rules
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
- Configure and deploy Appian applications across environments.
- Integrate Appian with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, databases, and middleware.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native integrations using AWS services.
- Troubleshoot application issues and optimize performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow Appian best practices and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Support production deployments and application maintenance.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.

- Understanding of Appian architecture and best practices.

AWS

- Experience with AWS cloud services such as:
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- S3
- EC2
- RDS
- CloudWatch
- IAM
- SNS/SQS
- Experience building integrations between Appian and AWS services.
- Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and deployment practices.

Technical Skills

- Java (preferred)
- SQL and Database Management (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- REST and SOAP Web Services
- JSON and XML
- Git/Bitbucket
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Preferred Qualifications

- Appian Certified Associate Developer / Senior Developer.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect Associate.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Telecom, or Healthcare domains.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Appian Data Fabric and Process HQ.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with AI-enabled workflows and document processing solutions.
