Award winning National studio is currently seeking a talented architect to join their education team with a focus on Sydney/ NSW.

This role will encompass design leadership, business development, client management and collaboration. Local experience and network within Sydney highly valued. Package commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead projects and teams with a focus in the education sector
- Work closely with Principals on the successful winning and delivery of projects
- Focus on schools, childcares and possibly tertiary clients
- Develop the skills of others within your team
- Work closely with clients and stakeholder groups
- Lead and collaborate on the design of education facilities
- Take on existing live projects but also expand pipeline in NSW

Skills and experience:

- Min of 10 years' experience gained in well regarded studios
- Demonstrated experience on education projects (independent schools)
- Ability to manage staff
- Mentor staff in career and team-based activities
- Be pro-active in business development activities
- Have a high customer service focus
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial acumen
- Relationships with education clients
