Butler Freight Services is a privately owned Transport and Warehousing business located in West Melbourne.

We have a rich history in the industry and anunsurpassed passion and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Our fleet utilises approximately 140 prime movers per day and comprises combinations of 15 Super B -Doubles, 20 B-Doubles, 16 Sideloaders, over 80 retractable skels, tautliners and in excess of 110 general trailer combinations.

We currently have an prospect within our Operations Department for a Fleet Assistant on the Afternoon / PM Shift. We are open to hiring experienced Fleet Controllers / Assistants or are willing to train the right candidate.

This is a Sunday to Thursday Role and the start time can be 1pm or 5pm.

The main duties ofthe role are as follows -

- Learn all aspects of transport operations / build your career and grow with the business
- Support fleet controllers and serve drivers / allocate jobs
- Check runsheets and MDT usage
- Cover leave of Fleet controllers
- Must have a willingness to learn
- Assisting Fleet Controllers to time slot at the Wharf

Please note that you will have to undertake a full medical and police check.
