Global Vision Recruitment on behalf of Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct Date Posted: August 04, 2026 Position: IT Support and Test Engineer Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per annum plus superannuation Hours: 38 hours per week Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Thornbury VIC 3071 Experience required: Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role Jade Biviano Family Pty Ltd trading as Biviano Direct is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time IT Support and Test Engineer to provide technical expertise, maintain IT infrastructure, improve system performance, and diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues. Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Monitor the integrity, availability and performance of hardware, servers, systems and critical processes, and review system and application logs.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify and respond to potential security threats.
- Manage daily backup operations and ensure successful recovery and off-site storage of backup media.
- Perform file archiving and data purging in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Create, modify and delete user accounts as requested.
- Provide IT support by investigating, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Repair and recover hardware and software failures while coordinating with affected stakeholders.
- Perform system testing,



upgrades and maintenance of administrative tools and utilities, and configure new services where required.
- Review and assess systems architecture and recommend hardware and software improvements.
- Install, configure and maintain system software and operational procedures.
- Prepare periodic performance reports to support capacity planning.
- Optimise system performance through hardware upgrades and resource allocation.
- Maintain data centre environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Test database systems and upgrades, including debugging, tracking, logging and resolving issues in accordance with approved testing procedures.
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers and service providers regarding IT security solutions and service delivery.
- Monitor network performance to ensure all system components operate effectively.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational manuals, reports and maintenance records.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
