We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Functions Manager to join our passionate team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.

About the Role

As our Functions Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete function journey, from the initial enquiry through to successful event delivery. This is a hands‑on role that requires outstanding organisation, communication and relationship‑building skills. You will work closely with guests and our team to ensure every event exceeds guests’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all function enquiries from initial contact through to post-event follow‑up.
- Meet with guests to discuss their event requirements and conduct venue tours.
- Prepare tailored function quotations and invoices.
- Coordinate event logistics with the kitchen, bar and restaurant team.




- Liaise with external suppliers including musicians, photographers and decorators.
- Plan and oversee weddings, corporate events, conferences, birthdays and special occasions.
- Train and lead function staff.
- Ensure exceptional customer service before, during and after each function.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and community organisations.
- Ensure all events are delivered professionally and efficiently while maintaining high service standards.

About You

You will be a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys building relationships and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Ideally you will have:

- Previous experience in hospitality, events or function coordination.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work evenings, public holidays and weekends.
