The Company is in search of high-caliber Heads of IT Portfolio to lead the end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives across assigned business units. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing a substantial technology portfolio, partnering with business unit leaders to shape technology roadmaps, and taking ownership of projects from inception to operational handover. This role demands a seasoned professional with a background in enterprise IT portfolio management, particularly within sectors such as utilities, engineering, telecommunications, essential services, asset or infrastructure management, transport, and mining and resources.

Key responsibilities for the Heads of IT Portfolio include managing a portfolio valued at approximately $10-$15 million per business unit, leading a team of 10-20 FTEs, and ensuring the successful delivery of multiple concurrent technology projects.



The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in financial management, demand management, and resource planning, as well as experience in developing business cases and investment proposals. Strong leadership, executive communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to build trusted relationships with senior business unit leaders. A hands-on delivery style and the ability to resolve complex project issues are also required. Qualified certifications in project or portfolio management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or P3O, are a plus, as is experience in a federated enterprise or multi-business-unit environment.
