Job Title: Maintenance Fitter –FMCG
Location:THIS IS BASED IN ROBINVALE. WE HAVE FREE ACCOMODATION TO STAY WHEN WORKING
Roster: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 + super
Accomodation: You will have FREE accomodation provided when you are working the 7 days on shift only then after the shift, you will go back to wherever you live

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing facility in regional Victoria. This role operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, providing an excellent work-life balance while working within a contemporary production environment.
During your 7-day shift block, accommodation will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates based in Melbourne or other locations who are open to working regionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment




- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability and efficiency
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with food safety and OH&S; standards
- Mandatory mandatory.

About You

- Trade qualified Fitter / Fitter & Turner / Mechanical Fitter
- Strong troubleshooting and fault finding skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
