This is an exciting career opportunity for a customer orientated service whiz to take charge of StoryVille's cocktail service.

If you love creating positive experiences for guests of all shapes and sizes then this is the role for you. You will be responsible for the operational management of our cocktail trade including nurturing a team of 15, conducting training, assisting with new menu creation, customer experience innovation and overseeing functions while becoming a face of the venue.

Are you ready to lead our extraordinary cocktail team? Reporting directly to the Venue manager you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the StoryVille experience. With a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you'll oversee a dynamic team of up to 15 staff as they deliver fun and fantastical cocktails to a wide range of guests.

With 4 other venues under our umbrella, the right candidate will be able to expand this prospect across multiple venues and a diverse range of drinks lists.

- Exceptional customer service and personable skills
- Experience booking and managing functions, events and activations
- Proven expertise in staff leadership, management, and engagement
- Experience in rostering and labour management
- An interest in curating exceptional cocktail and beverage lists
- Dedication to training and development initiatives
- Proficiency in cash management and financial acumen
- Knowledge of stock and COGs managementStrong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Experience in coordinating promoters, hosts and DJs
- Understanding of compliance and OH&S; regulations

The Role

As the Front of House manager you'll be running point across 5 nights of trade. You will be the leader of our awesome team of 15 staff as you guide them and the venue aduring our cocktail service and leading in to our nightclub service portions of the night.

You will ensure that customers are wowed from the moment they walk in our door while managing all areas of bar, floor and back of house operations.

Your mission will be to cultivate a vibrant culture while ensuring StoryVille remains at the pinnacle of Melbourne's nightlife scene.
