In-Home Care Support Workers – Aged Care & Disability (Casual)

We’re growing and have multiple casual opportunities for compassionate and reliable In-Home Care Support Workers to join our team across the Gippsland region. If you’re passionate about supporting people to live independently in their own homes, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

You’ll provide one-on-one support to participants in their homes, helping them achieve their goals while maintaining their independence, dignity and quality of life. Our current opportunities support both Aged Care and Disability participants.

Typical duties may include:

- Personal care
- Domestic assistance
- Social support and community access
- Transport to appointments and activities

All shifts are a minimum of 2 hours, with longer shifts available depending on participant needs. Occasional weekend and overnight (sleepover) shifts are also available as required and on availability.

About You

We’re looking for caring, adaptable and dependable people who enjoy making a genuine difference in the lives of others. Experience in the care sector is highly regarded, but we also welcome applications from people looking to start a rewarding career — we have opportunities for non-qualified support workers providing social support, domestic assistance and transport.

What You’ll Need – Essential

- Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Availability Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm (with occasional weekend or overnight work by agreement)
- Proof of working rights in Australia
- Excellent written and verbal English




- Confident using workplace technology (e.g. AlayaCare, intranet)
- A positive understanding of WHS requirements for hazard and incident logging and management
- Smartphone with internet access and a current operating system
- Physical capability to assist with manual handling, domestic assistance and personal care tasks
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care

What You’ll Need – Desirable

- A Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) or a related qualification
- Previous experience in aged care or disability support

Good to Know

Additional allowances apply when transporting participants in your vehicle. Travel between participant homes is not paid.
