OSHC First Qualified Service Director – St Mark's Lutheran School, Mount Barker (YMCA South Australia)

Overview

This part‑time position (31 hours per week) seeks a qualified service director to lead the OSHC team at St Mark's Lutheran School in Mount Barker, providing high‑quality care, recreation and leisure programmes for children. The role offers opportunities for career progression within a well‑established not‑for‑profit community organisation.

Responsibilities

- Lead, support and develop the OSHC team to deliver outstanding programmes that promote children's growth and development.
- Maintain the highest quality of care, recreation and leisure services, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and community changes.
- Inspire continuous learning and career development among educators, sharing best practices and policy developments.
- Focus on the social, emotional and interpersonal development of children, ensuring a supportive work atmosphere.

Qualifications & Experience

- ACECQA approved qualification – Diploma or higher‑level qualification.
- HLTAID009 – Provide CPR.




- HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.
- Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” (RRHAN‑EC).
- Training in Food Handling.
- Strong leadership experience with staff training, quality improvement and service standard maintenance (desirable).
